The OFA Volunteers

These are the 10 adults, one teen, and 1 child volunteers for the Food Bank of Alaska June 26 event.

Taping the bottom

Boxes arrived with not tap.  They were simply overlapped and folded, so they needed to be taped closed along the bottom flaps.

Self sticking labels

The Food Bank made self-sticking labels to be placed onto the cans.

Teen Helper

Cans are taken out of boxes and sorted for bends, dents, and puffy tops

Little Helper

Mariko Churchill is checking the cans for bends, dents, and puffy tops.  Some cans have to be Thrown awauy for they may have air and nasty bacteria growth inside.

Labeled cans are placed inside the boxes.

After labels are placed on the cans they are put inside the boxes.
